SANCTUARY LIGHT: No request for The Sanctuary light this week.
ALTAR CANDLES: The Candles will burn on the Altar during the Month of November in memory of Deceased members of the Sirak Family requested by Michaelene Ostrum.
SYMPATHY: We extend our sincere sympathy to the family of Helen Youells who was called to her eternal rest. May her memory be eternal. Vichnya Pomyat! Helen was the eldest parishioner in our parish and was very active in her days. She would have celebrated her 101st Birthday on November 29th. May her Happiness be in heave with the Lord.
ANNUAL TURKEY-FEST DINNER– Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, will host their annual Turkey Fest Dinner as a take-out only drive thru event on Saturday, November 7th with pick-ups from 12:00(noon) to 3pm in our parish parking lot. The event will feature our traditional turkey dinner. Dinners will be $12.00 for adults and $8.00 for children. Drive-up customers will be welcomed, but reservations are strongly encouraged. Tell your friends and family. Non-perishable food items will be collected for donation to a local food pantry.
HOAGIE, SOUP & BAKE SALE: St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 153 E. Main St., Glen Lyon, PA is sponsoring a Turkey & Italian Hoagie, Vegetable Soup and Bake Sale on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 11 AM to 5 PM in the church hall. Hoagies and a quart of soup will be $7.00. Orders can be placed by calling 570-736-6908 by Sunday, November 6, 2020.
DRIVE THRU DINNER: St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church, served by Fr. Andrii Dumnych at 205 North Main St. Pittston, Pa. is having their Feast Day Drive Thru Dinner on Sunday, November 15, from 1pm to 3pm. The Price is $10.00 per dinner. The dinner will include Chicken Parmesan, Ziti, Salad and Dessert.
