BUS TO PHILADELPHIA: The bus trip to the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Philadelphia will leave the parking area at Transfiguration of Our Lord, Nanticoke at 12:20 PM Sunday, May 23, 2010. Janine Everett announced that she will have a sandwich and water for all and if you would like to take some snacks that is your pleasure. The bus will stop on the way back home for dinner.

PARISH COUNCIL MEETING: The monthly meeting of the Parish Council will meet on Thursday, May 13th 6:30 PM in the Church Hall.
All council members are urged to attend.

CONGRATULATIONS: Our best wishes to Charles Drazba who became a grandfather to a new baby boy delivered to his daughter Monica and her husband John. Mother and baby are doing fine. Mnohya Lita.

PRAYERS: Please remember in your prayers all the parishioners in Hospitals, Nursing Facilities and at home
MOTHER’S DAY CARNATIONS: Pennsylvania for Human Life Annual Carnation Drive to support the Pro-life Center will be held this Saturday and Sunday for Mother’s Day, May 9th. Remember your Mother by purchasing a carnation for $1 and either place it in the vase at the base of the Blessed Mother Icon or take it with you for your home. Red is for deceased and white for living mothers.

OUR PARISH FAMILY DINNER – SVIACHENE: We wish to thank all who attended, made donations and helped in any way to make our Special Occasion a beautiful affair. We certainly appreciate all the monetary donations, food and most of all the wonderful dedicated helpers who gave their time and energy to make this occasion a success. We hope all who attended enjoyed the day and we were truly happy to see all who attended to make this affair possible. KRISTOS VOSKRES!
