PARISH COUNCIL MEETING: The monthly meeting of the Parish Council will meet on Thursday, May 13th 6:30 PM in the Church Hall.
All council members are urged to attend.

CONGRATULATIONS: Our best wishes to Charles Drazba who became a grandfather to a new baby boy delivered to his daughter Monica and her husband John. Mother and baby are doing fine. Mnohya Lita.

PRAYERS: Please remember in your prayers all the parishioners in Hospitals, Nursing Facilities and at home
MOTHER’S DAY CARNATIONS: Pennsylvania for Human Life Annual Carnation Drive to support the Pro-life Center will be held this Saturday and Sunday for Mother’s Day, May 9th. Remember your Mother by purchasing a carnation for $1 and either place it in the vase at the base of the Blessed Mother Icon or take it with you for your home. Red is for deceased and white for living mothers.

SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary light is requested to burn this week May 8 – 15 by Rita Rentko in memory of Stephen Rentko.

OUR PARISH FAMILY DINNER – SVIACHENE: We wish to thank all who attended, made donations and helped in any way to make our Special Occasion a beautiful affair. We certainly appreciate all the monetary donations, food and most of all the wonderful dedicated helpers who gave their time and energy to make this occasion a success. We hope all who attended enjoyed the day and we were truly happy to see all who attended to make this affair possible. KRISTOS VOSKRES!

WOMEN’S SOCIETY: The regular monthly meeting of the Women’s Society will be held Tuesday, May 11th in the Church Hall at 6:30 PM. Please attend this meeting and new member are welcome. President Irene Frisbie will preside.

LEAGUE OF UKRAINIAN COUNCIL MEETING: SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 20 Nottingham St., Plymouth, will sponsor the next meeting of the North Anthracite Council of the L.U.C., on Sunday, May 16, 2010. Prayer Service begins at 2:00 PM., the meeting and fellowship social will follow. Everyone is welcome at our meetings: members, parishioners, friends, and neighbors. Members, please plan to attend, and please bring along a new member! We are also reaching out to members who have not attended in a while – please come to our May meeting! We miss you! Saints Peter & Paul Church and Hall in Plymouth are air-conditioned and easily handicap accessible
