MAY 5, 2013, Sunday – First Holy Penance and First Holy Communion Confessions will be administered to any of the participants who will be receiving the Sacraments.

SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary Light is requested to burn this week
Geri Kolotelo in memory of her mother Anna Kolotelo.

ALTAR CANDLES: The Altar Candles will burn for all the services in the month of April in memory of Frances Bencho requested by her daughter Rebecca Molecavage.

FLOWERS: Our thanks to Michaelene Ostrum for her donation of flowers this week in memory of her father Michael Sirak.

MEETING DATE CHANGE: The Women’s Society will meet on Wednesday, April 10th at 6:30 PM. The date has been changed from Tuesday because many members will be on a bus trip. Please mark your calendar and try to attend this meeting. President Anna Magill will preside.

SVIACHENE: To date, not very many tickets have been purchased for the Sviachene (Easter Dinner). If you are planning to attend, please purchase your tickets so that the count can be made for the food orders. Come and spend some time with your fellow parishioners. The tickets are $12 for adults and $5 children 10-12. A Chinese Auction will be available for you to win some fine gifts.

League of Ukrainian Catholics, North Anthracite Council will meet this Sunday April 7th at Transfiguration of Our Lord UCC, Nanticoke, PA. Moleben Service at 2:00 PM, meeting and social to follow. Members, your attendance is important, as we are planning for this years LUC National Convention. New members welcome.

SVIACHENE: Please try to purchase your tickets if you plan to attend our Easter (Sviachene) Dinner to be held on Sunday, April 21st at 2:00 PM in the Church Hall. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children 10-12. Dinner consists of home style – Piggies, ham, kilbosi, potato salad, red beets, mushrooms, vegetable, eggs, bread, butter, dessert and beverage. This is a nice affair to bring your friends and family for a parish family gathering. Of course we are asking for all of our dessert makers for their wonderful baked goods and desserts. A Chinese Auction will be available for you to win some great gifts.

LUC MEETING: North Anthracite Council – League of Ukrainian Catholics will hold a general meeting on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Holy Transfiguration Parish, Hanover Section of Nanticoke.
