BLESSING OF THE ICON: On Sunday, May 2, 2010, Metropolitan Stefan Soroka will celebrate the Divine Liturgy and the blessing of the new Icon, which was donated by Anna Hamuka.
Divine Liturgy will be on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 11:30 AM.
There will be no Divine Liturgy on Saturday, May 1, 2010.
We hope and pray that all parishioners will attend the Divine Liturgy to welcome Metropolitan Stefan Soroka.
The Reception after the Divine Liturgy on May 2nd will be held at the Church Hall for all parishioners attending the Divine Liturgy. No tickets will be sold for this affair. Mark your calendar for this day to have a great attendance for Metropolitan Soroka.

CENTENNIAL ANNIVERSARY: St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, Edwardsville, PA will celebrate their Centennial Anniversary on Sunday, July 18, 2010. Solemn Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by His Grace Metropolitan Stefan Soroka at St. Vladimir’s Church, 70 Zerby Ave. at 1:30 PM. The Jubilee Banquet will follow at The Knights of Columbus – 59 Parry St., Luzerne. Open bar (Beer & Soda Only) at 3:30 PM and Dinner at 4:30 PM. Tickets are $39 and available by reservations. Flyer is in the vestibule bulletin board for further information. No tickets will be sold at the door.
SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary Light is requested to burn this week March 27 – April 3 by Charles Drazba & Family in memory of Bbci Eva Chapaskol

HOLY WEEK – Please remember that help is needed to participate in the Holy Week services. Holy Thursday, 5:00 PM, Good Friday, 5:30 PM and Resurrection Services Holy Saturday, 7:00 PM. Help will be needed to set up the grave after the Holy Thursday services. Try to lend a helping hand. Sign up sheet is in the vestibule for Adoration. Time to spent with God. Give an hour of your time for HIM.

PALM SUNDAY STATIONS OF THE CROSS AT ST. VLAD’S, SCRANTON: Father Paul Wolensky, Pastor, cordially invites you to attend the Stations of the Cross devotion, Palm Sunday, March 28, 2010, beginning at 4:00 PM at Saint Vladimir Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, 430 N. 7th Ave., Scranton. The Stations, sponsored by Saint Vladimir’s Parish and open to everyone, will be led by volunteer laymen of the Wyoming Valley area Ukrainian Catholic Churches. Fellowship and refreshments will follow the service. Come and begin Holy Week by praying and meditating on our Lord Jesus’ sacrifice of love for our salvation.
