CENTENNIAL ANNIVERSARY: An invitation to attend the Centennial Anniversary celebration of St. Vladimir’s U.C.C., Edwardsville, PA is extended to all, with Divine Liturgy at St. Vladimir’s, Sunday, U.C.C. on July 18, 2010 at 1:30 PM. The Jubilee Banquet will fallow at the Knights of Columbus, 59 Parry St., Luzerne, PA. Banquet tickets are available – Adults $39 and children under 7 years free, children seven and over adult price. Advance tickets may be purchased by sending full payment to St. Vladimir Centennial Banquet, c/o Helen Nazarek, 70 Zerby Ave., Edwardsville, PA 18704. No tickets will be sold at the door. Information is in the vestibule. Last day for tickets is July 11, 2010.
SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary Light is requested to burn this week, June 5 – 12 by Ron & Rosemarie Kachinko in memory of their Parents John & Mildred Starzec – Michael & Katherine Kachinko.
ALTAR CANDLES: The Altar candles are requested to burn for the month of June by Arlene Jones in memory of her parents Thomas & Anna Jones.
FLOWERS: Our thanks for the flowers donated this week by Michaelene Ostrum in memory of Fred & Olga Uhas.
WOMEN’S SOCIETY: The last meeting until September for the Women’s Society will be held Tuesday, June 8th in the Church Hall at 6:30 PM. A buffet will be served. President Irene Frisbie will preside. All members please attend and new members are always welcome.
LEAGUE OF UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC MEETING: SS. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, Warren Street and First Avenue, Berwick will host the next meeting of the North Anthracite Council League of Ukrainian Catholics on Sunday, June 13, 2010.
