SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary light is requested to burn this week July 17-24 by Charles Drazba & Family in memory of Dimetra Carpa.
PRAYERS: Please remember in your prayers Clara Patrylak – in Rehab at John Heinz following a knee operation and Mrs. Anna Dempsey who had another operation last week at the General Hospital.
DIVINE LITURGY: Envelopes are available in the vestibule for requests for Divine Liturgies. Your intentions can be made for good health, deceased or any special occasion. Simply fill in the envelope and place in the collection basket.
Divine Liturgies during the week are 8:30 AM on Wednesday and Friday and Saturday at 4:00 PM. Also flower requests are available for any occasion and the new Sanctuary Light chart is in the vestibule.
CONGRATULATIONS: We extend our Best Wishes to the Parish of St. Vladimir’s, U.C.C. in Edwardsville, PA who is celebrating the 100th Anniversary this Sunday, July 18th with a Divine Liturgy at 1:30 PM and a dinner celebration at the Knights of Columbus in Luzerne immediately after the Services. May they continue as a Parish in good religious faith. Mnohya Lita!

ICE CREAM SOCIAL: Students and families in the Cross valley religious education program are invited to Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, in Nanticoke, to attend Divine Liturgy and the blessing of fruit for the feast of the Transfiguration, followed by an ice cream social, on Thursday, August 5th, at 6:00 PM.
