SORRY – no heat. The furnace in the Church is out of order and plans are in the process for either repairs or a new unit. This will take some time, so please dress warm for Church. Matters will be taken care of as soon as possible.

SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary Light is requested to burn the week of Oct. 23 – 30 by Alison Ostrum in memory of Mark Skopek.

FLOWERS: Our thanks to the Halloway Family for their donation of flowers this week in memory of all deceased members of the Halloway family.

PROJECTS: The Church Council discussed having a Pyrohy Project on November 29-30. This project requires a lot of help. PLEASE IF YOU CAN POSSIBILY COME TO HELP IN THIS MATTER, sign the page in the vestibule. Monday would be to eye the potatoes and Tuesday would be the preparation. Please try to come and help your church. The cost per dozen will remain at $6 and limited. Place your orders early, deadline for orders will be Monday November 22.

CHRISTMAS EVE HOLY SUPPER: Our Church Council also discussed having Holy Supper in our Hall. If you live alone or do not prepare any more for Holy Supper, the idea to hold this for Parishioners and their family was suggested. In order to do this nice tradition, we need your help. First – sign the sheet in the vestibule if you can attend and how many in your family. Second – those who know the tradition of how many dishes and what they consist of would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone can help to form this affair and bring our Parish Family together with such a nice tradition. No tickets will be sold and this is for all parishioners. Please try to help plan this Holy Supper.

LOTTERY TICKETS: You still have a chance to purchase a few Lottery Tickets for the Month of November. Try your luck.

DONUTS: Donut orders are being taken for Damyan’s school. If you placed an order they can be picked up on Friday October 29th at the Nanticoke rectory by calling Father at 855-5141 or they will be in the our church on Saturday or Sunday, October 30/31. The order sheet is in the vestibule. Father thanks you for helping Damyan.
