MINISTRY FOR YOUNG ADULTS: Father Gary Mensinger of St Nicholas Byzantine Church in Old Forge and St Mary’s in Taylor has been working to plan for local ministry to young adults (21-40 years approx), open to all but focusing our efforts on Eastern Catholics. This program is modeled on Theology on Tap, a program that has spread from Chicago around the country to reach young adults with a practical and engaging conversation about some aspect of our faith. A program is planned for Monday, September 12, 2011.

LUC MEETING: North Anthracite Council – League of Ukrainian Catholics will meet this Sunday, August 28, 2011, SS Cyril & Methodius, U.C.C. 706 Warren St., Berwick, PA. WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION: All Married faithful are invited to join Archbishop Metropolitan Stefan at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral on October 23, 2011 for the celebration of their Wedding Anniversaries followed by a Banquet in their honor in the Cathedral Hall. Cost: $30.00 per Anniversary Couple and $20.00 per Guest.
Registration forms are available if you are interested in attending this lovely celebration.

RUMMAGE SALE: Items are being collected for the annual Rummage Sale sponsored by SS Peter & Paul Women’s Society in October. If you have any household items to be donated please call one of the members of the Society or bring them to the church on weekends or the Hall on certain days.
