SECOND COLLECTION: Envelopes are provided for a Special Collection for the month of October for your contribution to the Kyiv Sobor Support for the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Resurrection. Your support for this collection is important. The next couple of weekends the second collection will be used for this purpose. Try to be generous with your support.

PIE SALE: Transfiguration of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church is sponsoring a PIE SALE the weekend of November 19-20, 2011 in the Church Hall, Bliss and Center Streets, Hanover Section, Nanticoke. Featured pies will be pumpkin @ $8.00 and double-crust apple @ $10.00. Pies must be preordered and can be picked up after the 6:00 P.M. Liturgy on Saturday, Nov. 19th, or after the 10:30 A.M. Liturgy on Sunday, Nov. 20th. Orders may be placed by calling Gerry at 824-3880. The deadline for orders is Monday, November 14, 2011.

RUMMAGE SALE: A second date for the Rummage sale will be held on Friday & Saturday, November 4 & 5. If you did not get to donate your items for the last sale now is the time to put your donations together and bring to the church or contact one of the Women’s Society members to have a pick up. All items useful for household, linens, etc. are being accepted.
