INTERNATIONAL DINNER CLUB: St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 320 Mifflin Ave., Scranton, Pa. International Dinner Club is featuring Russian Cuisine on the 13th of June, 2013. Seating’s are at 5:30 and 6:30pm. The menu will start with a hearty Hot Borscht Soup followed by Beef Stroganoff served over Lapsha, Butternut Squash Pelmini, and Fresh Baked Russian Rye Bread. The dessert will be Homemade Kolachi. Complimentary glass of Beer or wine! We also have drink specials with imported Russian Stolichnaya Vodka. The price is $25.00 per person. The deadline is June 10, 2013.
SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary light is requested to burn this week

The new Sanctuary Light chart is available for your requests. The weeks of May 25 – June 1, June 1 – 8, June 8 – 15 is opened for requests. The Sanctuary Light burns for the week and the donation is $10. Please fill in your requested week while there is so many available.

LUC MEETING: The LUC meeting will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at SS Peter & Paul, UCC in Plymouth, PA at 2:30 PM. This is an important meeting as plans for the Convention to be held in October will be discussed. Members are urged to attend and new members are always welcome. Dorothy Jamula, Pres. will preside.
