SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary Light is requested to burn this week, June 1 – 8 by Becky Molecavage in memory of her mother Frances Bencho.
ALTAR CANDLES: The Altar candles are requested to burn for the month of June by Arlene Jones in memory of her parents Thomas & Anna Jones.
WOMESN’S SOCIETY: The last meeting until September for the Women’s Society will be held Tuesday, June 11th. We will meet in the Church parking lot at 5:00 PM and proceed to Keeley’s Restaurant in Kingston. All who will be attending please be at the parking lot.
LEAGUE OF UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC MEETING: North Anthracite Council League of Ukrainian Catholics will meet this Sunday, June 2nd at SS Peter & Paul, UCC in Plymouth, PA. Moleban will be celebrated at 2:30 PM. The meeting will be held and fellowship after the meeting. New members are always welcome to join and anyone who would like to come to a meeting is welcome.
PARISH COUNCIL MEETING: A meeting will be held on Thursday, June 20, 7:00 PM in the Church Hall. All members of the council are urged to attend. This meeting is opened to any interested parishioners. You are welcome to attend. Please be present.
SS PETER & PAUL FEAST DAY: The Feast of SS Peter & Paul is celebrated on Saturday, June 29, 2013. The regular Saturday Divine Liturgy will be at 6:00 PM on this day and a fellowship for all parishioners will follow. Please note this date and there will not be any Divine Liturgy on Sunday, June 30.
PRAYERS: Please remember in your prayers all those who are in Nursing facilities, at home, in hospitals, especially say a special prayer for Arlene Jones.
