SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary light is requested to burn this week May 17- 24 by Michaelene Ostrum in memory of Michael Sirak.
LUC MEETING: North Anthracite Council – League of Ukrainian Catholics will hold a general meeting on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Transfiguration OF Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church, 240 Center Street, Hanover Section of Nanticoke. Moleben prayer service at 2:00 PM, business session at 2:30 PM followed by reception and fellowship. Agenda will include discussion of proposed 2014 activities including the October National Convention in Johnstown PA.

OUR AFTER EASTER DINNER: We appreciate all the parishioners and non-parishioners who purchased tickets for our Dinner to be held this Sunday. To all the women who helped put this affair together may God bless you with good health. We are looking forward to a nice Dinner, Chinese Auction, door prizes and good fellowship. See you there…
CEMETERY DONATIONS: Our thanks to those who supported the cemetery this past week with their donations. It is very helpful as the price of care has been raised. The cost per month is from $475 to $525. Your help in maintaining the care for the cemetery is greatly appreciated.
