SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary Light is requested to burn this week September 20 – 27 by Mike and Dolores Sinko in memory of parents John & Helen Kurkoski.

RUMMAGE SALE: The Rummage sale will take place on Friday, October 3, from 9:00 – 5:00 PM, Saturday, October 4, 9:00 – 2:00 PM, and clearance day on Sunday, October 5, 11:00 – 2:00. The Women’s Society would like to have a bake sale with this Rummage sale and are asking if any of the parishioners would be kind enough to help in this matter by baking some baked goods to sell. If you can possibly help us please call one of the Society members or sign up on the list in the Vestibule.

SYMPATHY: We extend our sincere sympathy to the family of Julia Yuhas who was called to her eternal rest. Vichnya Paymat!

THANKS: Our thanks to Catherine Hasiak for her donation to the Cemetery Fund of $500, and for the donation of $250 received toward our Parish Building/Improvement Fund by an anonymous donor.

UKRAINIAN IMMIGRATION: Paula Holoviak will present a program about Ukrainian Immigration to Pennsylvania and its impact on our history, culture and economy on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014 – 3:00 PM at St John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 93 Zerby Ave., Edwardsville, PA. Admission is free, but space is limited. Please Reserve your seat by calling Shirley Gingo. A Poster is on the Bulletin board in the vestibule.

HARVEST FEST: St. Mary Church, 94 Walnut Rd, Hamburg, PA will hold their 10th Annual Harvest Fest on Friday, October 3, 2014 4 – 9 PM, and Saturday, October 4th – 12 – 9 PM. A Polka Mass at 4:30 PM. Food, fun and games. A poster with more information is on the bulletin board in the vestibule.
