SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary Light is requested to burn this week, October 25 –
November 1 by Anna Bosack in memory of all Deceased members of the Bosack Family.
RUMMAGE SALE: The second sale for the Women’s Society will be held on Friday, October 31st from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday, November 1st 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Lots of good items are still available with new one added. Come and browse, you may find something you can use.
FALL DANCE: Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish, 240 Center Street, Nanticoke, PA will be holding a Fall Dance in the Church Hall on Saturday, November 15th from 5 to 9 p.m.. Live music will be provided by Joe Stanky and the Cadets. Tickets are $10.00 per person and will be sold at the door. First drink will be included with your ticket. Refreshments and food will be available for purchase.
HARVEST DINNER: St. Vladimir Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church will sponsor a
Harvest Dinner on Sunday, November 16, 2014 – 12:30 PM at St. Vladimir Parish Center 428 North Seventh Avenue, Scranton PA. The dinner will consist of Roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, hot vegetables, dinner rolls, dessert, coffee, tea and beverages. Adults $13.00; Students 6 to 12 years $8.00; no charge for children age 5 and under. Advance reservations close Sunday, November 9 – no tickets sold at the door. BUS TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY – SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2014 A Christmas Season bus trip to New York City is set for Sunday, December 7th to include lunch in the Ukrainian Village, visiting the Ukrainian Museum’s annual Christmas Bazaar, admiring the spectacular Christmas decorations and shopping in midtown Manhattan or for a day on your own.
