IF YOU NEED SOMEONE TO JUST LISTEN
THEN JUST PRAY

Start the day with prayer and a commitment to conquer any difficulties that happen and a firmer commitment to not let them conquer you.
Lord, bless me with all that I need to make the best of every situation.

LUC MEETING: North Anthracite Council – League of Ukrainian Catholics will meet on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 5:30 PM at Grotto Pizza, 36 Gateway Shopping Center, Edwardsville, PA. Discussion will focus on hosting Convention 2017 which will be held the weekend of October 6, 7 and 8 in Wilkes-Barre.
For additional information contact Dorothy Jamula, President or any LUC member of the parish.

LOTTERY TICKETS: We certainly want to thank Mike Sinko for all his efforts in selling the Lottery Tickets for the month of May. Mike placed himself in front of different Food Markets to sell as many as he could. It is very difficult to try to get people to sell the tickets, as a few of our sellers are no longer with us. We thank all those who purchased and sold tickets. Watch your numbers and good luck.

THANKS: The flower beds, etc. look real nice thanks to Anna Magill, Sonya Dempsey, Catherine & Charles Halloway and our good man Dave Youells who also cut down a lot of the growth on the banks. New mulch was purchased by the Women’s Society and the cleanup was all voluntary. Also we wish to thank the few women and men who came out to help clean the Hall and to all those who helped with the preparations for the Sviachene Dinner. May God bless you all with good health.
