ALTAR CANDLES: The month of August is available for requests. The Candles will burn at all services during said month for the donation of $40. A request for health, honor or deceased for your loved ones is a fine gesture of love.
WOMEN’S SOCIETY: The Parish Women’s Society will be sponsoring a Rummage Sale in the fall. Now is the time to start packing things that are no longer useful to you and donate them to the sale. Bring items to the church or call one of the Society members to arrange for pick up.
EVENING PRAYERS: St. Vladimir Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, 70 Zerby Avenue, Edwardsville, PA extends a warm invitation to an Evening Prayer Service on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 5:00pm to be followed by a church sponsored meeting of our North Anthracite Council of the League of Ukrainian Catholics (LUC). This is a public event of St. Vladimir parish to which all parishioners and friends are welcome
Christmas time Bus Trip to New York City: Scranton’s St. Vladimir parish is sponsoring a bus trip to New York City on Saturday, December 9, 2017. If there are sufficient numbers of persons from Luzerne and Columbia Counties interested in the trip, a pickup in Edwardsville will be arranged. There will be three stops in Manhattan: the Ukrainian Village on the Lower East Side, Bryant Park’s Outdoor Christmas Shoppes and the Fifth Avenue/Rockefeller Center area. Cost is $42.00 per person. Participants are also free to do their own thing for all or part of the day. If interested, please inform Paul Ewasko at 570 563-2275 before August 15.
