SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary Light is requested to burn this week
August24- 31 by Thomas Sawka in memory of his wife Mary Ann Sawka.

BUILDING FUND: Many thanks and appreciation given to Rosalie Bigus for contributing the donations of $517. she received for our Building Fund, in memory of her husband, Michael Bigus, to be used toward the painting of the Domes expense. May God Bless you with good health for your generous offering.

DONATION: We sincerely thank Pamelia Pisarcik for her donation of $100 to our Church in memory of her parents Leon & Emily Woss which was included in the Sunday Offering last week.

LUC MOLEBEN MEETING: Father Roman Petryshak , pastor of Berwick’s SS. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, extends a warm invitation to the beautiful Prayer Service – Moleben to the Mother of God – on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 pm to be followed by a church sponsored meeting of our North Anthracite Council of the League of Ukrainian Catholics (LUC).  Schedule of autumn meetings, fund raising plans and the October National Convention in Buffalo/Amherst, New York will be the primary agenda items. This is a public event of SS. Cyril and Methodius parish to which all parishioners and friends are welcome..

FLEA MARKET: Rev. Eduard Shestak and the parishioners of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church are having their Annual Flea Market on Saturday September 15th, 8am-4pm, Sunday September 16th, 10am-2pm, and Saturday September 22nd, 10am -2pm.  The event will be held rain or shine at the church hall, 320 Vine St, Old Forge. Antiques, jewelry, household items, furniture, children’s clothing, toys and much more! A variety of ethnic food items, baked goods, and refreshments will also be available.

WOMEN’S SOCIETY: The Parish Women’s Society will be sponsoring a Rummage Sale in the fall. All items such as household, linens, utensils, toys, baby clothes, furniture, etc are accepted is they are in good shape to sell. Bring items to the church, the hall or call one of the Society members to arrange for pick up.
