SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary Light was requested to burn last week Nov. 5 – 12 by Michaelene Ostrum in memory of Olga Uhas.
This week is requested to burn Nov. 12 – 19 by Rebecca Molecavage in memory of her father Dimitri Bencho.
SYMPATHY: We extend our Sympathy to the family of ✞Rita Rentko who was called to her eternal rest. May her memory be eternal.
WOMEN’S SOCIETY: The regular monthly meeting of the Women’s Society was held Nov. 8th in the Church Hall. Report was giving for the proceeds of the Rummage Sale, The food & Bake Sale and the Basket Raffle. The Rummage and the food and bake sale amounted to $5,145. A few bills have to be paid, but this is a great amount for all the hard work the Women did to make it possible. The Basket raffle with the monetary donations and the amount received in the Poor Box amounted to $1,141. The check will be donated for the Humanitarian Fund in Ukraine in the amount of $1,200. We thank all who contributed to this sale and funds.
YOUTH CATECHISM: On Saturday, November 19th, the youth catechism class will meet for the monthly lesson. The class includes prayer, songs, lessons and activities inclusive for all ages of children. This class will be working on their service activity writing Christmas cards for parishioners who are sick or otherwise unable to attend Divine Liturgy. If know a homebound parishioner or friend, please let us know. Classes begin in the church hall following the 4:00 PM Divine Liturgy. Dinner will be provided through donations.
