RUMMAGE SALE: The annual Rummage Sale Sponsored by Women’s Society will be held sometime in October. Bring all of your items to the church on Sat. or Sun. or at the hall on Monday’s. Any items you may have to donate to the sale will be greatly appreciated.

SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary Light is requested to burn this week August 25 – September 1 by Ron & Rosemarie Kachinko in memory of Emily Helinski.

SS CYRIL & METHODIUS UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH: A “Shop for the Holidays Craft Sale” will be sponsored by SS Cyril & Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church 706 Warren Street, Berwick PA Saturday, October 20th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. HOLY TRANSFIGURATION OF OUR LORD UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH: A Centennial Celebration will be held at Transfiguration Of Our Lord UCC, Nanticoke, PA On Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 Divine Liturgy will be at 2:00 PM and following the Liturgy a Banquet will be at the Church Hall. Tickets are $40 and cash bar. Reservations are requested and must be in by August 31st. Please call Arlene Jennings 735-8497 for your reservations.

GIFT CERTIFICATES: Only a few more hundred dollars’ worth of the gift certificates that can be used at the Plymouth Hometown Market is still available. If you shop for food you can use these certificates as cash. They come in denominations of $5, $10, & $20. Saturday, see Ann Beshada and for Sunday attendance, Louise Hubiack will have them available. Please try to cooperate with this fund raiser. Thank you to all who have purchased them.

LUC MEETING: The regular meeting for the LUC North Anthracite Council will be held this Sunday, August 26th at Ezek’s Farm. Moleben service will be at 2:00 PM and refreshments to follow. Members and guests are welcome.
