SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary light is requested to burn this week June 17 – 24 by daughter Denise & Ed Kuklewicz in memory of John F. Wido.
FLOWERS: Our thanks to the Dempsey Children for the Bouquet of Flowers this week in memory of their mother Anna Dempsey, her son Frank and daughter Eliza.
RUMMAGE SALE: Remember the Women’s Society will be having their annual Rummage Sale in October. As you clean out your closets, basements and attics, put the stuff you want to discard and bring them to the parish center. All good items are acceptable.
NEW CHAFFING RACKS: The Women’s Society purchased two new Chaffing Racks for the serving of buffet dinners, etc. The kitchen has two old ones but when many dishes are being served the need for two more was necessary. Thanks to the Fund Raiser Rummage Sales this purchase was made from the account.
LOTTERY: Mike Sinko reported the sales of the May Lottery: Amount collected $4,837.00, Paid out $1600.00, expense $100.00 – $3,137.00 profit.
PIGGIE SALE: St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 205 North Main St. Pittston, Pa. is having a “Piggie Sale” (Stuffed Cabbage Rolls) on Sunday, June 25th from 10am to 2pm. This will be a Pre-Order – Take-Out’s Only . The Piggies will sell for $2.00 each. A container of 6 is $12.00. If you have a large order, we are asking you to bring your own container(s). Pick -up is at the rear door of the Church Hall . Please call 570-905-7387 with your order.
