SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary light is requested to burn this week
April 28 – May 5 by Mike & Dolores Sinko in memory of parents Michael & Mary Sinko.

ALTAR CANDLES: The Altar Candles will burn for all services in the month of May in memory of Pstrak Family, Nahsym, Julie, Ann, Steph, Michael, John & Joseph Pstak requested byIrene Pstrak Family.

CARNATION SALE: Please remember your mother on Mother’s Day weekend by purchasing a Carnation at the entrance of the Church. If you wish to leave a Memorial to your Mother, a vase will be placed near the Blessed Mother Icon. The Proceeds from this drive promotes the Sanctity of Human life. We need someone who will be at the Divine Liturgy on both Saturday and Sunday May 12/13 to handle the carnations.

MOTHER’S DAY: An envelope is in your box of envelopes to remember your Mother with the spiritual bouquet. All living and deceased mother’s will be remember in a Divine Liturgy on the weekend of May 12/13.

THE SHROUD OF TURIN: A presentation on the Shroud will be given on Monday, May 14, 7:30pm, following the Vespers at 6:30pm. In addition to Divine Liturgy at 6:00pm Saturdays and 10:30am Sundays, the church will be open for visitation daily from 10:00am-1:00pm and 4:00-8:00pm*, May 15 to May 27, with rosary recitation at 4:30pm (*Saturday, May 19 & 25, 10:00am-1:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm). The public is welcome for visitation and prayer at the church during the daily schedule for The Shroud of Turin display (full schedule at http://www.transfigurationucc.org).
