LUNCH IN EDWARDSVILLE – TODAY (Sunday) Father Paul Wolensky invites you to come and celebrate the Feast of Saint Vladimir, Equal-To-The-Apostles and Baptizer of Rus’-Ukraine, Sunday, July 15, at 12 noon – we are having a Festive Covered Dish Luncheon at our Social Hall (70 Zerby Ave.), and you are most welcome to come and celebrate with us! The planned menu will be similar to a Summertime picnic. Our parishioners are good cooks and we love company! You are welcome to bring something too, but you don’t have to. Divine Liturgy, Picnic and LUC Meeting – Father Walter Pasicznyk, pastor of the Hanover section of Nanticoke’s Holy Transfiguration Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, extends a warm invitation to a special celebration of the Transfiguration of Our Lord’s Feast Day Parish Celebration on Sunday, August 5, 2018. The day will begin with Divine Liturgy at 10:30am followed by a summer picnic in the church’s basement hall and on the church grounds. At 2:00pm the parish sponsored meeting of the North Anthracite Council of the League of Ukrainian Catholics (LUC) will take place. All parishioners and LUC members are warmly welcomed to attend.
