Ss. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, Olyphant, Pa (near Scranton) is sponsoring a fund raiser……”The 3rd Annual Hometown Bake Sale”. It will be held two days: Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday November 18, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at 135 River Street, Olyphant, Pa (the School Gym). Additional fund raiser items: The Cookbooks “Favorite Recipes from our Best Cooks” Volume I and Volume II are available for $25.00 (set). The Choir will have available their Christmas CD for $15.00 and the Divine Liturgy DVD for $20.00. Orders will be taken for the Embroidered Placket Polo Shirt with “Ss. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church” with the Byzantine Catholic 3-bar Cross from $12.00 to $18.00 each. SANCTUARY LIGHT: The Sanctuary Light is requested to burn this week Nov. 3 – 10 by Michaelene Ostrum in memory of Olga & Fred Uhas.
ALTAR CANDLES: The Altar Candles is requested to burn for all services in the Month of November by Rebecca Molecavage in memory of Dimitri Bencho.

MEETING: The Parish Councils meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 7th. This meeting will be in conjunction with the Parish Council of Holy Transfiguration at 7:00 PM in SS Peter & Paul Church Hall.
PLANNING COMMITTE MEETING: The 20/20 Planning Committee for the Archeparchy will conduct a meeting in Transfiguration of Our Lord Church in Nanticoke, PA on Saturday, November 17th at 10:00 AM for the southern part of this deanery. The Parish Finance and Pastoral councils, catechists and any active members of the parish are invited to attend.
PYROHY PROJECT: A Pyrohy Project will be held on December 3 & 4th. An order sheet is in the vestibule or you may call Ann 829-4202 or Ron 779-4407 to place your order. Please order as soon as possible as the cut off date will be November 25th. The Pyrohys are $7 a dozen. Help is definitely needed so please if you can help with this project for your church come and lend a hand. There is a job for everyone.
WOMEN’S SOCIETY SALE: The Women’s Society Rummage Sale will be held
again on Friday, November the 9th. New and used items are still being taken for this sale. If you have any items to donate, please bring them to the church or hall this week. The sale will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
